Saggs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian business that designs and builds AI automation for small and medium businesses. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

• Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number and business name — when you fill in a form, book a call or email us.

• Information about your business and workflows that you share so we can scope and build automations.

• Website usage data such as pages visited, device, browser and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics and our hosting provider.

• Any personal information contained in systems or data you give us access to while we deliver a project.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and deliver our services.

• To build, test, maintain and support the automations we create for you.

• To understand how our website is used and improve it.

• To send you service updates and, only if you agree, occasional marketing (you can unsubscribe at any time).

• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business — for example website hosting (Framer), analytics (Google), email and scheduling tools, and the automation and AI platforms used to deliver your project. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the APPs.

AI and client data

When we build automations that use AI models, we choose providers and settings that do not use your business data to train public models wherever that option is available. We collect only the data a workflow needs and keep sensitive records in your existing systems where possible.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to measure traffic and improve the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and reputable, secure providers. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing info@saggs.tech. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
